The former Arsenal man had to be withdrawn at half time after sustaining a hole in his foot
Lucas Perez left fans feeling rather queasy after showing off a horrific injury he sustained against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The West Ham United striker played for the first 45 minutes at the London Stadium, but was replaced by Andy Carroll during the break.
Although the Hammers were struggling at the London Stadium, fans were left perplexed somewhat as the former Arsenal man was taken off.
However, it has since transpired the forward had suffered a deep cut on the instep of his left foot which left his boot soaked with blood.
In his absence, the Hammers rallied to come back after James McArthur opened the scoring for the Eagles.
Goals from Robert Snodgrass, Javier Hernandez and Felipe Anderson meant Jeff Schlupp’s header was a mere consolation in a 3-2 win.
