Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola has reportedly held talks with Juventus over a possible move this summer.

The Manchester United midfielder’s future is the source of contant speculation amid links with Real Madrid and Juventus.

Pogba, 27, is fondly remembered by the Old Lady faithful after a glittering spell at the club between 2012 and 2016, before he returned to United for a club-record fee.

And now, Le10Sport claims Raiola has opened talks with Juve over a possible return, while also Madrid remain keen on the French World Cup winner.

Saul Niguez

Saul Niguez will be a Manchester United player this summer, reports in Spain say.

Todo Fichajes claim that the negotiations are ‘practically closed’ and the deal will be announced at the end of the Premier League and La Liga campaigns.

The Red Devils are said to see the Atletico Madrid star as the ideal replacement for wantaway Paul Pogba, and the coronavirus pandemic could mean they could pick him up for significantly less than first thought.

Saul’s release clause with Atleti is a whopping £132m, but they will now reportedly settle for just £70m.

Odion Ighalo

Manchester United want to keep Odion Ighalo beyond the end of his loan deal, which is due to expire before the Premier League resumes next month.

Ighalo has scored four goals in eight games since joining the Red Devils in January on a temporary basis from Shanghai Shenhua.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is known to want to bring a new centre-forward to Old Trafford.

But Sky Sports say Ighalo’s impressive form means he may be the answer to Man United’s goalscoring problem.

Kalidou Koulibaly

Manchester United are set to revive their interest in Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly after finding out Liverpool want to sign him.

Koulibaly was heavily linked with a £100m move to Old Trafford before the club brought in Harry Maguire for £80m from Leicester last summer.

However, the Senegal international could form a solid defensive partnership with Maguire if he decides to join United.

Gazzetta dello Sport claim Liverpool’s interest has prompted United to look back into a big-money move for him.

Adama Traore

Adama Traore is reportedly a summer transfer target for Premier League heavyweights Manchester United, Liverpool and Manchester City.

The Wolves star has been one of the top-flight’s most improved performers this season with four goals and seven assists.

He has become a regular fixture in their side after starting just five league games last term following an £18million move from Middlesbrough.

Le10sport claim the Premier League’s big guns are interested in signing £70m-rated Traore.

Jadon Sancho

It appears Manchester United have won the race to sign Jadon Sancho with reports claiming the details of his transfer to Old Trafford are ‘almost agreed’.

The Sun claim the Borussia Dortmund forward wants to join the Red Devils three years after leaving their local rivals Man City, and his contract length, salary, bonuses and buyout clause have all been agreed.

Months of secret talks are claimed to have taken place between the two parties, and now United must reach an agreement with Dortmund over the fee.

He’s expected to go for well over £100million, and this value is likely to rise given Chelsea and Liverpool may instigate a bidding war amid their interest in Sancho.

BVB will make a staggering profit on Sancho when he is sold, having signed him in 2017 for just £8m from City.

United have also reportedly offered Sancho the number seven shirt in a bid to tempt him to the club.

Flop Alexis Sanchez currently holds that number but his days at Old Trafford appear all but over.

The Mirror say United are working hard to seal a deal for Borussia Dortmund and England winger Sancho and believe handing him the No.7 could convince him.

Man United have taken a step forward in their attempts to sign Birmingham wonderkid Jude Bellingham – by saying he will be a first-team player immediately after joining the Red Devils.

Bellingham, who doesn’t turn 17 until the end of next month, is one of the most highly-rated youngsters in English football and he’s been earning interest from across Europe.

The teenage midfielder has been touted as a ‘young Steven Gerrard‘, and clubs such as United, Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have all been keeping tabs on him.

Fode Ballo-Toure

Man United are interested in signing Monaco left-back Fode Ballo-Toure.

Luke Shaw, the Red Devils’ first-choice left-back, has struggled with injuries since breaking his leg in 2015.

And former Paris Saint-Germain academy graduate Ballo-Toure, who joined Monaco from Lille in January 2019, is believed to be on United’s radar.

The 23-year-old made 21 appearances as Monaco finished ninth in the 2019/20 Ligue 1 table.

Journalist Duncan Castles told the Transfer Window podcast: “The player that Man United are looking at is Fode Ballo-Toure.

“He’s a 23-year-old left-back. He is an exceptionally quick, very powerful player, physically has lots of stamina and strikes me as having a very good profile for English football from a physical perspective.

“Also, I’m told he’s an excellent character, so there’s belief that he would transfer well from the French game to the English game and not have as long an adaptation process as some players do when they switch countries.”

Angel Gomes

Chelsea are confident of signing Manchester United starlet Angel Gomes, reports claim.

The 19-year-old, whose contract keeping him at Old Trafford runs out this summer, has made just six appearances for the Red Devils this season.

The Mirror claim Gomes wants first-team assurances from United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before committing to a new long-term contract.

He could fancy his chances at Chelsea, with manager Frank Lampard known for giving youngsters a chance.

Ed Woodward

Ed Woodward says Man United remain committed to backing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is expecting the club to continue being ‘highly competitive’ in the transfer market.

Woodward told a fans’ forum: “It’s always a top priority for us to strengthen the team and build on what Ole is very clearly achieving in terms of bringing us back to the top. But we’ve got to have clarity on what the future holds.

“What will happen with the remainder of this season? What is the impact on next season? Is it behind closed doors or in front of fans? What’s the impact on broadcast deals, sponsorship deals? What’s the impact on domestic cups? Etc, etc.

“There are many, many moving parts. It is not necessarily going to be business-as-usual for clubs this summer.

“It feels somewhat inappropriate to see speculation about transfers for hundreds of millions in current circumstances.

“There’s a big disconnect between those stories and the economic realities facing football clubs in general.

“Clearly it’s true we are fortunate to be in a strong financial position compared to many clubs, but we are not immune from the financial impact of what this virus is doing.

“I would say that once we have the visibility of a path through the crisis and coming out of the other side to relative normality, then of course we aim to remain highly competitive in the market.

“As I said before and I’ve said this many times – we remain committed to backing Ole to win trophies. That’s our core objective as a club.”

Dayot Upamecano

Manchester United have joined the race for Dayot Upamecano, according to France Football.

Arsenal have made the RB Leipzig man a top target but could miss out due to their financial issues.

That has left the door open for United, whose training facilities Upamecano visited before he joined Salzburg in 2016.

The Frenchman has a £53m release clause, but could be allowed to leave for less as he is in the final year of his contract.

The reports add that Chelsea, Tottenham and Man City are also keen.

Marcus Rashford

Real Madrid and Barcelona will try to sign Marcus Rashford from Man United in the future, Clinton Morrison has told talkSPORT.

He said: “I think he’s just going to go from strength to strength to strength.

“Mark my words, I think a club like Barcelona or Real Madrid will come knocking because I think he’s an exceptional talent, and he’s mentally strong.

“For a person at such a young age, he’s played a lot of football. He is mentally strong. He’s a terrific player. You need things like this in your career that you can bounce back from.

“He’s come out and said Jose Mourinho has kind of helped him because you want situations like that to happen in your career where you become mentally strong.

“But, for me, Rashford is one of the best footballers around at the moment.”

James Maddison

James Maddison insists he’s happy at Leicester despite being linked with several other top clubs.

Manchester United are known to be big fans of the Foxes midfielder.

He said: “I feel right at home at Leicester.

“I feel like part of the furniture already and I love it here.

“I love the lads, I love the fans, (we’ve got) a great manager, so I’m very, very happy.”

Mason Greenwood

Borussia Dortmund reportedly wanted Mason Greenwood in return when Manchester United tried to sign Jadon Sancho last summer.

The Red Devils tried to lure the England ace back to the Premier League following his incredible spell of form in Germany.

Accoding to ESPN, Dortmund called for them to include Greenwood in a swap deal for Sancho.

But United made it clear that they were not prepared to use the 18-year-old as a makeweight in the move.

Bruno Fernandes

Harry Maguire has hailed the impact of Man United signing Bruno Fernandes.

The Portuguese hit the ground running in England before lockdown being crowned the Premier League’s player of the month in February.

Maguire said: “He’s been brilliant since he’s come in, off the field around the training ground, he’s a leader and wants to win, everything he does he wants to win, you can tell he’s been brought up with that attitude.

“He’s just given us that little bit more life and creativity in the middle, something (pundits) and United fans have said we’ve missed over the years.”

Harry Kane

Bad news for Manchester United fans as reports say Tottenham have no intention of selling their talisman this summer.

The Red Devils have long been linked with Kane and reports over the weekend suggested that Daniel Levy had put a £200million price tag of the England captain.

It looks as though now any deal to take him away from north London will not be completed in the next transfer window.
