Woman mauled to death by dogs, deputies say

A dog owner is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge after his dogs mauled a woman to death, according to Courtney Snow, public information officer with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office.(Video above is previous story)On Tuesday, a home health care nurse found a woman’s body in a yard on Allegra Lane, said Laurens County Deputy Coroner Patti Canupp.Canupp identified the woman as Jacqueline Nicole Robinson, 32, of Gray Court.She said an autopsy revealed the cause of death was “mauled by dogs.”According to Snow, Animal Control responded to the residence due to the dogs still in the vicinity, displaying aggressive behavior.The animals were captured and removed from the property, said Snow.According to Snow, investigators determined that the dogs allegedly belonged to Jeffery Sullivan of Gray Court. Sullivan was arrested on Friday and charged with involuntary manslaughter and three counts of possession of a dangerous animal, said Snow.“This is such a tragic, senseless death. My thoughts and prayers go to Ms. Robinson’s family. I pray that justice is served and that her family feels some peace knowing that this individual believed to be responsible is being held accountable for his reckless actions.” said Laurens County Sheriff Don Reynolds.

Jeffrey Sullivan- charged in deadly Laurens County dog mauling

Jeffrey Sullivan faces involuntary manslaughter and three counts of  possession of a dangerous animal.


On Tuesday, a home health care nurse found a woman’s body in a yard on Allegra Lane, said Laurens County Deputy Coroner Patti Canupp.

Canupp identified the woman as Jacqueline Nicole Robinson, 32, of Gray Court.

She said an autopsy revealed the cause of death was “mauled by dogs.”

According to Snow, Animal Control responded to the residence due to the dogs still in the vicinity, displaying aggressive behavior.

The animals were captured and removed from the property, said Snow.

According to Snow, investigators determined that the dogs allegedly belonged to Jeffery Sullivan of Gray Court.

Sullivan was arrested on Friday and charged with involuntary manslaughter and three counts of possession of a dangerous animal, said Snow.
