Ex-pitcher Erickson charged in hit-and-run case

LOS ANGELES — Former Main League Baseball pitcher Scott Erickson has been charged with reckless driving in connection to a hit-and-run in Southern California that killed two boys final 12 months.

Grossman, 57, pleaded not responsible to costs of homicide, vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence and hit-and-run driving leading to demise. The costs carry a most penalty of 34 years to life in state jail.

Grossman, a philanthropist whose Grossman Burn Basis helps burn survivors, is free on $2 million bail.

Erickson is scheduled to be arraigned March 16. A name to a quantity listed for him went unanswered.

Erickson performed within the majors from 1991 to 2006, together with the primary six seasons of his profession with the Minnesota Twins and 7 seasons with the Baltimore Orioles.
